ERICA GERRITY

Erica Gerrity is the Executive Director of Ostara Initiative and a dedicated prison birth doula committed to advancing reproductive justice for people impacted by incarceration. With decades of experience supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals in carceral settings, Erica has trained and mentored doulas, led program development, and worked alongside directly impacted communities to expand access to dignified, trauma-informed birth support. Erica’s leadership is rooted in a deep belief that every person deserves respect, autonomy, and compassionate care during pregnancy and childbirth—no matter their circumstances.
